After six years of searching for the best wine regions in Italy, France and Spain, in 1999 Dirk Hoet settled in Priorat and bought Mas de les Pereres. Characterized by his scientific background, sense of research and his almost maniacal perfectionism, Dirk Hoet decides how and when to plant the vines, how to treat them and the best time to harvest. On the other hand, it also determines the winemaking process and how to lead the aging of young wines.
