Cirsus Payment

The goal of Bodega Pago de Cirsus is to produce a wine protected by the highest level of quality designation, the "Denominación de Origen Vino de Pago." This means that the land, microclimate, and grape varieties cultivated here give the wines a distinctive character compared to other wines from the region. All Pago de Cirsus wines are made from grapes grown on the estate itself, and the entire production and bottling process takes place on the property. To achieve this goal, we have modern and functional facilities that allow us to preserve the qualities of the raw materials to the greatest extent.

With a total of 220 hectares, the estate consists of 136.7 hectares of vineyard, planted in the year 2000. The area is divided among the following varieties:
Chardonnay
Muscatel Small Grain
Carbenet Sauvignon
Merlot
Syrah
Tempranillo
Grenache

The estate is located on the southern border of the province of Navarra, in the central area of the Ebro Valley, which gives it very distinctive climatic conditions. It can be considered an extreme CONTINENTAL climate, with very cold winters and long, dry summers.

Each decision made, from choosing the vineyard site, selecting grape varieties, timing the harvest, to the production and aging methods, has shaped the character and personality of our wines, earning us national and international recognition as the best single-estate wines in Spain.
