The result of the restless character of the winemaker Juan Luis Cañas is Dominio de Cair.

In Aguilera, a village 8 km from Aranda de Duero, we find the treasure, the largest concentration of Viña vieja in the area.

Old vines, some over a hundred years old. Old strains, sparse in production, but with a generous character to give their best in every bunch.

And the combination was made: soil, climate, and knowledge in winemaking in another area; with these elements, the challenge began.

We came with a desire to learn and develop an exciting project.
