Preparation:
Tebaida 5 is the pure expression of Viña Sapita, and what we aim for in its production is not to interfere in its journey towards this expression. For this, we allow the vinification to complete in open 500-liter French oak barrels, always with the native yeasts from the vineyard. We observe to ensure that everything develops normally, although we rarely have to intervene in this process. Subsequently, it rests in barrels of 225 and 700 liters for a period that usually lasts around 18 months. At this moment we let time work with the wine and we leave it in the bottle rack for a few years until it finishes refining. The result is a combination of elegance, structure, and complexity that we understand will have a very long life ahead.
